If you are interested in tree climbing get along to Steele Park, Hamilton East on Saturday morning (28 August) for the Waikato TCC Workshop.
This is a free workshop, organized by the NZAA . It is primary designed for newcomers to the tree climbing comps but old hands could learn a thing or two as well, particularly TCC rules changes for 2010 (printed rule books are available - free).
National TCC coordinator Marlies Laser will be joined by Rossy Ross (Pro Climb) and Drew Bristow (DB Tree) in presenting this workshop. Prominent Auckland climber, Johno Smith is unable to attend due to tree climbing commitments in Queensland, Australia.
Make sure you bring your helmet and climbing gear!
