Following yesterdays blog Treetools have had a number of requests today for information regarding the competitors in the 2010 Asia Pacific Tree Climbing Competitions scheduled for 21 March, 2010, at Western Park, Freemans Bay, Auckland. A quick call to NZ TCC coordinator, Marlies Laser clarified the situation immediately.
Selected climbers, the two top men and women (other than the overall winner), from each of the Asia Pacific Region countries are invited to attend. This year we are likely to see competitors from New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong.
Elena O'Neill, Chrissy Spence, James Kilpatrick andJawand Ngau Chun are invited to represent New Zealand. Winners of each national TCC event have already qualified for Chicago, in New Zealand's case that'sNicky Ward-Allen and Scott Forrest.Treetools will profile the climbers from the other countries as more information becomes available from the NZAA.
