All of this years Husqvarna- NZ Arb Regional Tree Climbing Competitions are jammed into one month - September - see schedule below (only the Hamilton venue is missing).
The 2013 NTCC, one month later (24-26 October), is scheduled for Queenstown so all competitors should be on an equal footing in terms of training.
In previous years the Auckland Regional TCC was held earlier in the year, typically March, months before the Nationals.
To keep training topical serious Auckland competitors traveled and competed in other regional events closer to the time of the Nationals in order to fine tune their training - this years competitive training can now be completed in one month if climbers choose to enter all events.
