Nicky Ward-Allen broke her own previously held world record with a 14.44 second secured footlock climb in Auckland this morning. Nicky broke the record climbing on Teufelberger's new 10 mm lightweight footlock line, Globe 5000 supplied by Treetools.

Auckland will have a team of eight representatives in the 2010 NZAA/Stihl NZ National TCC scheduled for sometime in November. Jawand Ngua Chun was overall leader but there were some very close point scores between the top climbers.

The weekend of March 20-21, 2010 will be the biggest tree climbing weekend for 2010. If you are competing in the 2010 NZAA/Stihl Auckland Regional TCC you would be advised to read through the 2010 ITCC Rulebook. Check the throwline and speed climb rule changes in particular.
