The Pepe is a technical sole with an internal honeycomb structure designed to reduce weight in the boot - you will be amazed at how light these boots are. The high-friction rubber sole features a ‘climbing zone’ at the tip and self-cleaning tread. The semi-rigid midsole offers a good compromise between support and flexibility. The precise lacing system allows you to adjust ankle tension according to your preferences, while the upper provides secure coverage to ensure correct support. The Cordura ankle cushion is resistant to abrasion yet soft enough to flex the ankle in all directions, making it ideal for tree climbing. The integrated elastic gaiter forms a barrier reducing the amount of dirt that can get inside. The new Clip’n step features the ‘EZLoop system’ to attach the hand ascender foot tape using a small accessory carabiner, which can be easily replaced in case the sling breaks.
