The ART Spiderjack 2.1 Dyneema is designed for use with two carabiners not unlike the Hitch Climber set-up. This configuration helps to facilitate easy transitions and changing of anchor points. The Dyneema sling replaces the Velcro attachment on the original ART Spiderjack.

The sling is kept in place with the milled alloy 'keeper'. The sling includes a stitched-in stainless steel ring rated at 12kN. This new version of the ART Spiderjack also has a longer lever with deeper fairleads and an artificial 'roller' or half-pulley for easier rope-tail management.

The Spiderjack allows you to ascend or descend - slowly or very, very fast - your choice!

The rope runs through the rope duct without the need for tailing. The blocking lever is made from a special wood with a high friction factor and the sensitivity can be easily regulated by pressure from the thumb.

The ART Spiderjack is best suited to harnesses with a short bridge. There is no panic mode with this device so please keep your wits about you - Joe Harris makes it look easy, but his skill has taken years of practice. The 2.1 Dyneema kit is available separately and can be retro-fitted to earlier ART Spiderjack models.
