The FTC MICRO-CYLINDRE 2.1 is a robust aluminium friction device for tree care rigging applications. It attaches to the base of a tree and holds and lowers cut branches or logs during tree take-downs. Regular maintenance is crucial for its longevity and optimal performance. The device supports rigging ropes with diameters from 10 to 14 mm and comes with a ratcheting, 9 m long polyester strap and four removable rubber protection blocks. Following the manufacturer's guidelines and recommendations is essential when using this device. Avoid using soiled ropes, as contaminants can reduce the device's performance and increase wear.
