SOLD BT THE METER New England HRC (Heat Resistant Cord) Therma-Shield is better suited to experienced climbers and excellent as a TCC friction cord. The heat-resistant cover is blended Technora and spun Nomex fibres for dramatically improved performance and safety. The Vectran core offers very high tensile strength and low stretch. HRC is stiff when new but softens and fluffs as it ages to ensure excellent handling and maximum grip. HRC is a non-melting, non-glazing friction cord best suited to 11mm - 11.7mm climbing lines.
