Teufelberger Sirius Loop 60 is a 600 mm continuous friction hitch loop designed for climbers using a traditional loop-based hitch system, providing a cleaner, more compact alternative to tying friction cord with double fisherman’s knots. Made from extra-tough 10 mm Teufelberger Sirius friction cord, the loop is Whiptail-stitched to Teufelberger specifications for a consistent, reliable termination. The braided polyester kernmantle construction combines excellent abrasion resistance with the flexibility required for dependable friction hitch performance. Breaking strength is determined using the test method specified in EN 566, making the Sirius Loop 60 a simple, purpose-built option for configuring traditional friction hitch climbing systems.
