Auckland contract climbers Freddie Hjelm and Drew Bristow installed 240 light strings with 9600 bulbs in a giant Pohutukawa on the way to Saturday's game at Eden Park in Auckland.
The project, sponsored by Auckland lighting company La Lumiere, took over 15 hours to complete and is part of the street decorations for the 2011 Rugby World Cup.
