The boys from Advanced Tree Services in Christchurch demonstrated a couple of battery powered Sthil chainsaws and blowers at the South Island Regional TCC a couple of weeks ago… and they attracted plenty of attention.
Above is a video sent to us by regular blog reader Wouter (from the Netherlands) showing Husqvarna's battery powered offering. Note the quality of the trade show, everything down to the 'fake' tree - its certainly a hard act to follow (we didn't see anything like this in Sydney?).
