The NZAA and the Best Practice Guidelines Committee are open to comments regarding changes/amendments to the NZAA Best Practice Guidelines according to BPG committee member, Jerry Lynch.
There is a link on the NZAA website where you can make suggestions and/or comments - essentially it is an email address. All comments will be collated and forwarded to the Chair of the BPG Committee, David Glenn.
Submitted suggestions will be discussed and reviewed by the full BPG committee but there is no guarantee they will be implemented - see page (iv) of the BPG document for the full list of committee members.
The plan is to have everything ratified at the August 2011 NZAA E&T committee meeting (anyone can attend) with final presentation of the Best Practice Guidelines for Arboriculture at the next NZAA AGM.
So… if you have any thoughts on the NZAA Best Practice Guidelines - pull ya finger out and get emailing!
