The 'Exhibition' tree climbing competition is the first event in the Labour Weekend Arb Festivities scheduled for this Saturday 23 October in Dunedin.
The climbing comp will take place in the Dunedin Museum Reserve. You'll find these magnificent 100-year old trees just off Great King Street, Dunedin North (see Google map below). Start time is 8:00am.
The tree combing comp will be followed by the Arborists Ball, in the Ozone Cafe on Harbour Terrace on Saturday evening - 7:00pm start.
Dunedin weather forecast for Saturday is fine with Northerlies developing during the day - a perfect day for tree climbing.
