We have reviewed the Walsh Planter spade in a previous blog. The Walsh is proving to be a very popular spade: the extra reinforced welding close to the top on the handle and along the back seam above the blade make it very robust; and the angle between handle and blade combined with the overall length and weight appears to be just about right.
Having said that, we don't have one planting spade that will work in every situation. Some of you are planting in rocky ground, or in soft volcanic soil and yet others in sandy loams. That's why we offer a complete range of planting spades - and to make things easier we have listed specifications for each planting spade so that you can make comparisons depending on the terrain in which you are planting.
