The Rigging with the Port-A-Wrap Workshop has proved so popular , Pro Climb are mounting a roadshow around four North Island cities, over the next few months, to ensure a wider audience is exposed to these new (and old) Port-A-Wrap rigging techniques.
The decision to take the workshop out of Auckland is due to high demand from arborist companies wanting to refresh and up skill their working knowledge on the use of a Port-A-Wrap. There are plenty of portys 'in the system' but not everyone is getting the maximum benefit from this tool (and some are pushing it beyond its design parameters).
The rigging workshops are scheduled for Wellington, Palmerston North, Hamilton and Hastings. All will be conducted by Rossy Ross from Pro Climb. Rossy is a qualified arborist, forester and industrial abseiler. He has gained most his knowledge oversees and is dedicated to spreading this knowledge in New Zealand. His goal is to make tree work in New Zealand safer and at the same time more productive. At $40 per head this represents excellent value for money. If Auckland is anything to go by, you will need to get in early if you want to secure a spot at these valuable workshops. More information and registration details can be found on the Pro Climb website or in the Events section on Treetools.
