Well known Australian arborist, Scotty Sharpe passed away yesterday afternoon (5 August) following a tragic tree felling accident while working near Launceston in Tasmania.
Treetools has worked with Scotty on a number of projects and we are in shock, as is the whole Australian/New Zealand tree climbing community. Scotty was considered 'Mr Safety' in the tree care industry so we are at a loss as to what has happened.
