A climbing competition workshop is planned for Saturday August 28 in Hamilton, two weeks prior to the Waikato/Bay of Plenty Regional TCC. The workshop follows a suggestion made by well known Auckland climbers Drew Bristow and Johno Smith. The venue is yet to be confirmed.
Hamilton might be the venue for this workshop but it's primarily designed for anyone planning to compete in a tree climbing competition - not just the Waikato/ Bay of Plenty Regional event.
The workshop is designed for TCC newcomers and old hands alike and will cover everything from gear checkto the 2010 ITCC rule interpretation. Each of the individual competition climbing events will be covered in detail, including techniques, equipment andwhat to expect from the judges.Treetools will post more details closer to the event.
