F8 Revolver designer, Kevin Bingham (treebing on TreeBuzz ) announced the invention of the Singing Tree Rope Wrench a month or so ago and this new descending tool is now attracting plenty of attention from tree climbers around the world.
Made from a stick of hickory this uniquely shaped descender is threaded onto the climbing rope and is pushed up the rope by the friction hitch during ascent.
