The Dunedin TCC featured in the cities daily newspaper, the Otago Daily Times, on Monday 25 October. The ODT had a reporter and photographers at the event throughout the day.
The competition location in front of the Museum was perfect for spectator involvement. A main pedestrian thoroughfare ran throughthe event itself so members of the public were well exposed to the sport.Towards the end of the day Menno Kluiters and world record holder Nicky Ward-Allen demonstrated their foot lock style for the press.
Publicity like this is definitely good for the sport of tree climbing!
