The first print run on the Tree Climbers Sourcebook is almost depleted. We intend printing more for the Regional TCCs to be held in Christchurch and Wellington but after that the Sourcebook will only be available via download from the Treetools website. Planning is now well underway for the full arborist edition and it should be available for the NZ Arboricultural National Conference held in November. The Arborists Sourcebook will include an expanded climbing section, pruning tools, protective clothing and footwear and rigging equipment.
As part of our rigging equipment research we have spent time withtwo of Auckland's leading rigging experts: Andreas (Rossi) Ross of Pro Climb and Zane Wedding (Zane represents the Auckland region in the TCCs). Both runsuccessful arb contracting companies and apply their rigging knowledge on a day-to-day basis in their tree work. Rossi has a number of unique rigging productshe intends to market and will provide training to companies for the application of these tools. As soon as Treetools can narrow down our rigging selectionit will be posted on the Treetools website.
